“I really do see belly dancing as an art. It’s refined in its own way,” said Hada, who regularly performs for the public at restaurants such as El Morocco in Pleasant Hill and Bijan in Walnut Creek. “It’s a little freer in expression than other dance forms,” she said. “I remember practicing with my sister.
